The Clarke Memorial Swim Center is open all year long and home to an Olympic size, 20-lane lap pool. In addition, the center boasts heated showers and locker rooms, a fitness center with weight and cardiovascular equipment, a diving pool, a children’s wading pool and vending machines. Both the diving pool and children’s wading pool are only open seasonally.

The Larkey Swim Center is only open during the peak of swimming season, from mid-June to mid-August. Home to an L-shaped recreation pool that is 25 yards by 25 meters with a dive well, a children’s 1-foot deep wading pool and a grass area, the Larkey Swim Center is available for adult lap swimming, recreational swimming and off-season rentals. There is an entrance fee, and swimming instruction can only be permitted with a written approval from aquatic coordinators.

Open at 8 a.m. every day until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 p.m. on weekends, the Walnut Creek Tennis Center in Heather Farm Park is available on a pay-as-you-play basis and allows you to reserve courts up to eight days in advance. The center also includes a Pro Shop with a well-stocked inventory, a racket-stringing service and other maintenance services. If you are looking to take individual or group lessons, they are available for people of all playing levels and ages. Ball machine rentals are available, and shirts are required at all times on the court.
